Instant Baked Potato Soup Mix in a Jar
1 box sour cream and chive potatoes
Chive Sauce packet from potatoes
1 packet dry cheese sauce mix from boxed macaroni and cheese
1 tablespoon bacon bits
Remove packet of potatoes from box and use a roller or your fist to break most of the dry slices up into smaller pieces.
Combine all ingredients and put into a jar or decorative container. Attach the following instructions on a gift tag:
Instant Baked Potato Soup
Combine contents of jar with 2 cups milk and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes.

Apricot Bread Mix in a Jar
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup dried apricots, finely chopped
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups Bisquick
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Layer ingredients in a wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order given. Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.

Apricot Bread
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease well a large loaf pan and place wax paper on the bottom.
In a large bowl, place the Apricot Bread mix. Make a well in the center. Mix 1 1/4 cups milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 slightly beaten eggs and 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine into dry mixture. Mix until completely blended. Spoon the batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack before removing.

Country Pecan Purses
1 yard country print cotton
Cellophane in coordinating color
1 cup pecans
1 yard 1/2-inch wide satin ribbon in coordinating color
4 cinnamon sticks
Cut fabric and cellophane into four (15-inch) squares. Cut ribbon into 9-inch segments. For each bag: Lay cellophane on fabric. Place one cup of pecans in center and gather up ends of fabric and cellophane over pecans. Tie with ribbon. Attach cinnamon stick to each bag using ends of ribbons.
